Morning Coffee 10/26/16 Give Your Eyes

Read Matthew 9:35-38

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; – Matthew 9:36-37 KJV

Hello family, I am writing to you with hurting heart. I met a young man in a My little pony fan artist group I’m in on social media. We struck up conversation and exchanged art work. one of my works that i shared was christian themed. He replied “you’er a christian?” I said yes. There was a long pause before his next message. He replied “I used to be a christian but not any more.”

At that moment my heart began to ache. i asked what happened he replied “I fell in love with a guy.” The ache in my heart grew. Our conversation continued. Before he signed off he said, “I know what the bible says about homosexuality i know its wrong but I’m in love with this guy. It’s too late for me.” I replied its not too late as long as you are breathing it is not to late!

God had out paths cross for a reason God, had me join this fan club for a purposes much deeper than the sharing enjoyment of a carton with others. Since i have been in this group i have stared a christian version of the group and it is steadily growing as God sees fit.

God has destined us to met certain people, He wants to use us too draw the people to Him. But if we are not seeing this world if we are not seeing the people around us with God’s eyes we will miss the opportunity to be used by God. Ask God to give you His eye so you can see every broken heart.

Please ply the song in the link below

Morning Coffee 8/30/16 Can’t Stay Like This

11 When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. – 1 Corinthians 13:11 NLT

Hello family, This new season i am in has called for a shift in me that i can no longer delay. As the seasons change we too must change with them.

I am 30 years old and to be honest it does not feel like i thought it would. So far its felt like turning twenty. I”ve seen glimpses of what God has in store for me and i am excited. But in order for these things to come to pass it requires surrender to be honest has been an uphill battle for me. But i got to surrender to God what he want from me. I will not be passed by in this season. My time of idleness is over! Surrender! I know that in the end i will game so much more than what i give up.

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 8/10/16 Praying Grandmother

19 For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance. – Philippians 1:19 NLT

Hello family, Paul always encouraged fellow brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for one another. Through pray we build and maintain a support system. You may not even know the person God is telling to to pray for. That does not matter. What matters is that God put that person or persons on your heart.

There are so many testimonies that i have heard where that person had a praying grandmother interceding on there behalf. Now God has chosen you to intercede for someone. Don’t put it off take action now! Your prayers, your faith can be the very thing to give the person the miracle, the breakthrough they need.

We are all called to pray for each other. That person may have given up on there situation but God is stepping in and putting you on the frontline to pray for them. pray until God tells you to stop praying. Your prayers do have an impact. Be the praying grandmother.

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 8/8/16 Am I Ready?

36 Then Gideon said to God, “If you are truly going to use me to rescue Israel as you promised, 37 prove it to me in this way. I will put a wool fleece on the threshing floor tonight. If the fleece is wet with dew in the morning but the ground is dry, then I will know that you are going to help me rescue Israel as you promised.” – Judges 6:36-37 NLT

Hello family, when we are put out of our comfort zone, we sometimes look for verification after verification to make sure we are supposed to be where we are. We get like Gideon and toe tap our foot on the ground ahead of us to make sure God said Go!

There is nothing wrong with making sure God is behind whatever action you are taking but at some point we have to jump in the deep end and give our all at what God is moving us to. It will be uncomfortable and we wont know all that we need to do. This is a good place to be, because now we are forced to cast a side all doubt and trust God.

Being out of our comfort zone puts us into “need God mode”. When we are in “need God mode” we can really grow. don’t fear God got you! You are ready!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 7/6/16 Your Life Is God’s Canvas

11 “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.” – Revelation 4:11 NLT

Hello family, many of us have asked the question “why did God create us?” and many the answer we find is to give Him glory. But that answer has become so cliche and common that it leaves little impact. We don’t truly see the magnitude of it.

“My mind is a center of Divine operation. The Divine operation is always for expansion and fuller expression, and this means the production of something beyond what has gone before, something entirely new, not included in past experiences, though proceeding out of it. Therefore, since the Divine cannot change it’s inherit nature, it must operate in the same manner with me; consequently, in my own special world, of which I am the center, it will move forward to produce new conditions, always in advance of any that have gone before.” – Thomas Troward

When my pastor read that quote a switch flipped. God, our heavenly Father wants to move through us. Not just move and operate through us but operate through us on progressively higher levels. Didn’t christ say that those who believe in Him will do greater things that what what he has done (see John 14:12)?

Family God is already operating in us and it is awesome! But imagine if we stopped boxing God in and say “ok God here is all of my life here is my Whole heart. What if we would stop letting our carnal mind plant doubts in us and we moved when God told us to move on the things that don’t make sense but we know it is God telling us to do them!

13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. – Philippians 4:13 NLT

Our only limit is God. He governs us in the things He wants us to do. God has given us all a space, a mission for us to be a canvas for His glory. Yesterday we read about Paul encouraging Timothy to stir up the Gift of God in him. Give God full free rein to move through the gifts He has given you even the hidden unknown ones.

We were created in Gods image. He empowers us to reflect his glory Our life is God’s canvas, stop holding the paintbrushes hostage and let Him paint his wonders on you!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 7/5/16 Compose Your Self (This Is your Moment)

Read 2Timothy 1:1-7

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. – 2 Timothy 1:7 NLT

Hello family, When I read this scripture, I think of a warrior preparing themselves for battle. They have been fully trained for what lies ahead and now it is time to apply the training. Paul is basically giving Timothy a pep talk to keep him fired up.

When we step out to do what God told us to do there will be steps that we won’t be notified of until we need to make them. At these moments we must keep our composure. We cannot get scattered during these critical moments. I like to know every step ahead but this year has not been the case. And i have had to keep moving as God planned.

Keep building the gifts God gave you, keep training, keep working the plan God is giving you. This is your moment! Remember God cannot be caught off guard he knows what lies ahead! So breathe deep and move forward!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 6/27/16 Lord Let This Cup Pass

Read Luke 22:37-42

42 “Father, if you are willing, please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” – Luke 22:42 NLT

Hello family, What if the cup did pass? What if our heavenly father said “ok you don’t have to do this.” For one, i would not be here. Every person ever born wound be doomed with no chance of hope. But we know that the cup did not pass and Chris token our place and made the ultimate sacrifice. for us.

One thing that my pastor mentioned in his message on Sunday was that there are certain things we must endure in order for us to become what God destined us to be. How can we show mercy if we have not be given mercy. How can we be wise if we haven’t made a few mistakes. When solomon asked for wisdom I’m sure God did not just drop it in his lap. Im sure there were some tough decisions to be made. I bet he made some mistakes but leaned from them.

This is also not just about you. Its about the lives you will affect. The people watch silently in the background seeing you go through the mess. So if you push away the situation that God designed to strengthen you to be a blessing to others, how will you make an impact?

Family, God knows all that we are going to do in this life. He sees all the choices (good and bad) that we will make. So he tweaks the bad ones so that they will benefit us. But if we run from the storm, if we run from pain we wont grow. we wont Get the benefit of learning from the pain.

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 6/14/16 Knock On Opportunities Door

Read 2Kings 7:3-16

3 Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the entrance of the city gates. “Why should we sit here waiting to die?” they asked each other. 4 “We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway.” – 2 Kings 7:3-4 NLT

Hello family, The four lepers decided to something about there situation. There was a famine in the land no food. They were not gonna get any hand outs. So they decided to surrender to the Aramean army. They had nothing to lose, if they lived there live would be better if they were killed then no more suffering a life with leprosy. They decided to change there situation.

These men did not wait for opportunity to knock they went knocking on opportunities door! And not only did they benefit from there action the rest of the city was blessed. We sometimes wait and wait and wait for the right time to come. But God is telling you NOW is the right time! Look at your situation what is God saying to you? Is opportunity waiting for you to knock on its door?

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee Revisited: 1/15/15 Opportunity Knocks!

mc

“A wise youth works hard all summer; a youth who sleeps away the hour of opportunity brings shame.” (Proverbs 10:5 NLT 96)

Hello family! Opportunity is knocking at my door! Certain things that I have been desiring have been placed before me! They are not going to be handed to me. I have to do some work in order to fully attain them. God has placed a goal in front of me and given me the drive to do the task I need to do to obtain the goal! Fear has held me back in the past, I cannot let it interfere this time! I would be a fool to let this time of opportunity slip by me! I will take hold of it this time and I am not letting go!

When opportunity knocks at your door, get up and let him in! Don’t let him go next door to your neighbor!

Much Love & God Bless
