Morning Coffee 10/25/17 This Moment Of Peace

This moment of peace is bought to you by God.

“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?” Job 38 4-7 NLT

Hello family, what if God removed his hand from your life? Let’s take it a step further what if he looked at this universe He created and said “i’m done! To hell with all of this!” If the Alpha and Omega turned his back and let chaos reign. It would make the little bit of chaos that is happening now look like a peaceful meadow.

This moment of peace that just happened was bought to you by God.  Each time you make it from point A to point B without tragedy striking you, that was bought to you by God. Your children arrived safely home form school, that was bought to you by God. You sip your coffee or tea in the morning sun, that was because of God.

We take so many moments of peace for granted, like they are just supposed to happen. like we deserve them! We don’t even deserve to draw breath. Yet here you are sitting at you desk or on your couch reading this devotion. And here i am in a moment of peace writing to you.

The words don’t exist that would describe the HELL FIRE that creation would bear if God removed His hand. The only thing we deserve is hell fire but yet god’s hand is stayed on the axis of creation and the devastation that could happen is held back.

This moment of peace is bought to you by God.

Morning Coffee 9/25/17 Two Heartbeats

Hello family, I want you to take a minute to find your pulse or put you hand on you chest and find your heartbeat. Do you feel it, is your heartbeat fast or is it slow? We can get  basic info about how we are doing just by simply feeling our pulse or heartbeat.

There are two heartbeats we should be constantly monitoring. The first is the heartbeat of God. As a matter of fact we should be directly plugged in to the cadence of His heart, so we can identify when, where and how God is moving. The second heartbeat is the heart beat of this world. We don’t connect with it like we do with the heart of God, we simply monitor the vital signs.

“But the world is against God, why monitor its heartbeat?” So you can know how to minister to the environment around you. If God places people in your path and you don’t take time to see them with God’s eyes. We won’t minister to them at all or we will minister to them in the wrong way. And they will be worse off than before. But when we are linked up and in sync with God’s heart beat and we are monitoring the heartbeat of this world we can truly be effective in our area of influence.

Morning Coffee 9/10/17 I Don’t Understand It (But I Will Obey) 2.0

4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here [am] I. – Exodus 3:4 KJV

“God is presenting “burning bushes” to those He has chosen and they have to answer.”

Hello family, God bought me back to and old morning coffee devotion i wrote on 11/22/16 titled

“I Don’t Understand It (But I Will Obey)” I don’t fully understand the current season I am in. I expected it to go one way, but God directed it a totally different way. On an afternoon walk I vented to God about how I00 thought things should be right now and asking him what does he want me to do in this season.

He said to me “I am your provider, not some job! I am your source, have I ever lead you wrong? Take care of the things i have placed before you and will place before you. Do not neglect them, I have placed theses things in your care. When I want you to do something I will let you know!”

Keep your ear to the ground so that you will sense where the spirt is leading. Be on high alert, be watching and ever ready for when God tells you to move. The time now is so incredibly critical. Just as Ester received and acted on the wisdom of her uncle Mordecai. It is such a time as this that you act and  move according to the Holy Spirit. Make your shelter in the name of the Most High! Abide under His wings, there you will find an abundance of all that you need!

Morning Coffee 6/29/17 Unconditional Love? PT1

Hello Family

I read an email from a blog site i follow. someone posted the question does God love everyone unconditionally? Now I’m sure you may have responded to the question with an instant preloaded “yes!” But lets not get ahead of ourselves. Grab a cup of Coffee and lets see what the Holy Spirit will reveal to us.

First what is love? What are its characteristics? For that we will head to 1 Corinthians 13. This scripture maybe super familiar but as we know God’s word is alive and active so please lets look at this with a clean slate without any of our presumptions. “Love is patient and kind.” Parents, you may have a child that has gone astray and they are not living up to the great potential that you se within them. let me ask you how long will will you pray for them to come home? How long will your heart hope for their turn around? There isn’t and end date to to that answer especially for the mothers. Your verbal prayers may grow less frequent but deep within your hearth chambers your heart will still cry out to God for that child’s safe return even if you are on your death bed.

It is the same with God, except her is eternal and all knowing. Can you imagine knowing all the things your child would do both good and bad in there life long before they were born and you still demonstrated  your love to them even if you knew they would reject you? That is Love! Love is kind. Its easy to bring a friend of family into your home for a meal but what about a total stranger that is rather dirty will you have the kindness to let them in and clean them up? God did that for us, that is apart of Love!

Morning Coffee 10/26/16 Give Your Eyes

Read Matthew 9:35-38

36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; – Matthew 9:36-37 KJV

Hello family, I am writing to you with hurting heart. I met a young man in a My little pony fan artist group I’m in on social media. We struck up conversation and exchanged art work. one of my works that i shared was christian themed. He replied “you’er a christian?” I said yes. There was a long pause before his next message. He replied “I used to be a christian but not any more.”

At that moment my heart began to ache. i asked what happened he replied “I fell in love with a guy.” The ache in my heart grew. Our conversation continued. Before he signed off he said, “I know what the bible says about homosexuality i know its wrong but I’m in love with this guy. It’s too late for me.” I replied its not too late as long as you are breathing it is not to late!

God had out paths cross for a reason God, had me join this fan club for a purposes much deeper than the sharing enjoyment of a carton with others. Since i have been in this group i have stared a christian version of the group and it is steadily growing as God sees fit.

God has destined us to met certain people, He wants to use us too draw the people to Him. But if we are not seeing this world if we are not seeing the people around us with God’s eyes we will miss the opportunity to be used by God. Ask God to give you His eye so you can see every broken heart.

Morning Coffee 12/7/15 Fear and Faith

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. –

Hello family, i get inspirational text messages. They have been a blessing to me.  A few days ago one text message struck me in an odd way. The text message read “The bible says perfect love cast out fear it didn’t say perfect faith. So yes you can be in faith and feel fear.” Normally i would read the text and move on if it was not for me. But it kept stirring in my sprit.

When we are about to take a leap of faith that God has moved us to take we will feel fear. But we cannot allow that feeling or thought to stay and take root. The bible clearly tells us not to fear. In multiple psalms David wrote about being afraid but then he turned around from that fear and acknowledged and praised the awesome mighty all powerful Heavenly father he serves. “4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. – Psalm 23:4 KJV”

We put our faith in God our father, we put our faith in His commands, we put our faith in these 66 books that he spoke into existence using a vast range of people to put ink to paper. Now God is love (perfect love) and “perfect love cast out fear”. God our heavenly father loves us, He is jealous for us! He gave His one and only son for us! We then put our faith in Him, knowing that no matter what situation arises in our life we do not need to fear! Kick fear to the curb because  if allowed to stay it will hinder you. God (your heavenly father) loves you and he will take better care of you than you can take care of your self! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR, GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!

Much Love & God Bless

How He Loves Us – Kim Walker-Smith / Jesus Culture – Jesus Culture Music

Morning Coffee Revisited: 10/29/14 The God Element: Love!

“If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it;  but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud  or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages  and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! (1 Corinthians 14:3-8 NLT)

Hello Family! We are finishing up the God element series. We know that God is Our ultimate source, we know that God is omniscient (all knowing). We know our God is omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time) We our God is Omnipotent (all powerful) But above all that our God is LOVE! “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.  But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.  This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” (1 John 4:7-10 NLT)

Tell me when was the last time God reminded you of a past wrong you did? When has God told you I’m done with you, you are worthless! When was the last time God forced you to do what He wanted? When has He rejoiced in your pain? The answer is never! As I think back over my own life, I see the times only God was there to help, the times when I gave up on myself God was there to pick me up and push me forward. The times I sinned against him, even if it was a repeated sin. He never pointed a finger at me and said see, that’s what you get or I told you so! Yes, He bought His correction on me, but that correction was not condemning. That correction pushed me closer to Him! God is everything described in Corinthians 14:3-8.

If God did not love us, we would not be here, we would not experience the grace and mercy that has been and continues to be showered on us! If He did not love us He would not bring correction when we do wrong. We would not feel any conviction when we sinned. But since he dose Love us, we do feel His conviction when we do wrong, we do receive His correction that pushes us away from sin and closer to Him.

As Paul said in the opening scripture, he can give all he has to the poor and sacrifice his body if there is no love it will be for nothing. God sent His only son to be a sacrifice for our sins out of His Love for us. God brings correction out of his love for us! All that God does for us is based  from Love.

Now here is where you and I apply it! When someone offends you for the hundredth time, forgive them and don’t hold it over their head. Don’t get puffed up in yourself because you are not all that. Don’t give up on that lost friend or family member keep praying for them, keep showing them the love of God when you see them. Let’s do our best to act out of LOVE and not our flesh! If we don’t have LOVE, we don’t know God Because God is Love!

Morning Coffee Revisited: 4/21/15 Receive His Love!

“Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” (Titus 3:3-7 NLT)

Hello family, God Loves You! I put it in bold because It’s is something I needed to know and Receive! Over the past few days, I have allowed the enemy to keep my focus on the negative, on the things that I am not doing, the things I failed to do each day. I had allowed the lies to take root. God had been showing signs and messages that He loved me and that he was proud of the progress I had made. But I did not see that all I saw was the failure. I had set a standard in my mind that if I didn’t do a set amount of work that God was not pleased with me. God does not base His love on the amount of work I do or how good I do it. If it was we all be in deep trouble. We are going to have bad days, bad weeks, and even bad months. We can’t allow the lies of the enemy to condemns and make us feel defeated. We are not defeated so get up brush off the dust and know God Loves you! Just open your arms and heart and receive His Love God will never stop loving you! He is rooting for you in the smallest good thing you do for Him and He is proud of you! Receive His Love!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 6/13/15 What Love Is pt2

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” (Matthew 25:41-16 NIV)

A woman was setting up lunch, Jesus was coming for a visit. She prepared a most delicious meal. Fried chicken, cornbread, mac n cheese, sweet tea (iced tea) and red velvet cake for desert. As she was finishing her set up a man knocked on her door. He looked like he had walked a thousand miles. His sneakers were worn out and he was covered in dust from the road. Ma’am my I please have a little to drink and eat? I am famished from my journey! No! she snapped this is for Jesus now go away! The man sadly walked off.

A few hours later Jesus knocked at the door. The woman rushed to the door and let him in. Jesus saw the banquet of food and said this is a lot of food! Why didn’t you invite anyone else to eat? The woman replied because I figured you might be hungry from your journey and I wanted to save all I had for you! A scraggly traveler asked for some earlier, but I told him off! After you finish eating I’ll give him what’s left. Jesus looked at the woman with disapproval. As He walked out the door He said the scraggly traveler was me.

Hello, family, Jesus elevated and ministered to people that the rest of society deemed unworthy of help. He had dinner with sinners the low-lifes of the time (see Matthew 9). He was anointed by a sinful woman (see Luke 7). If we are followers of Christ we must be willing to serve and minister to those in need! The Walk of a Christian is not about rubbing elbows with the cream of the crop but being ready and willing to roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. Reaching out to where no one else will reach out to.  That is Real Love

Morning Coffee 6/12/15 What Love Is Pt1

“We know what real love is because Christ gave up his life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers and sisters..” (1 John 3:16 NLT)

Hello, family, I read this and it struck me different. Normally I take in the context of me actually dying for another brother or sister in Christ. It is more than that. It can be applied while we are very much alive.

Scenario: you got a big meeting to get to and you are running late. A friend calls asking you for a ride you normally say yes, but you got this meeting to get to. But the Holy Spirit tells you to give them a ride. So you give them a ride then head to your meeting. That is laying down your life for your Christian Brother and sister.

There were times Christ was physically tired and wanted to rest, but there were people that needed to be ministered too. So He put his rest on hold to teach and serve. Give up your life is not always in the literal context. There will be a situation that will arise when it is not convenient for you to help, but God wants you to help. Lay your life down and serve in the kingdom of God.

Much Love & God Bless
