Sunday Thoughts 4/23/17

Look at the dust storm in the image. That massive wall of dust is made up of billions possibly trillions of little particles of dirt stirred up by the winds from a thunderstorm. one dirt speck doesn’t do much. But gather billions of these particles together swept in the air and you have something that can shut down  an entire city.

God’s winds are blowing will you allow your self to be stirred up?

Sunday Thoughts 4/16/17

Beaten and ripped until He was indescribable. The centurion pierced Him and out flowed Grace and love that cant be described. He….  did all this for me?

My faith is prone waver, But he hung on that splintered cross, His Love making Him my savior.

He did all this for me?

Now i truly understand what a wrech is. In my darkness He became my light. In my weakness He became my strength so now I’m winning the fight. all this for me?

Forgive my repetitive ness It blows my mind that God would become flesh and do all this thinking about me.

Much Love & God Bless

Sunday Thoughts 4/9/17

Hello family this week God confronted me about  un-forgiveness. not toward another person but toward myself. he showed me that it had become a burden i had placed on myself. and it truly was hindering me in my walk. If i am going to be all that God called me to be, I cannot hang on to these regrets. I have repented of them and God has forgiven me of them, so why should i hang on to them?

I have attached a link to two songs, play one or play both whatever you feel lead to do. They have blessed me I pray they bless you.

Much Love & God Bless

Sunday Thoughts 4/2/17

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT

Hello family these two scriptures have been stirring around in my mind during the week. These scriptures are two puzzle pieces that fit together. as a matter of fact they need each other. 2 Chronicles 7:14 representing Us yielding our self to the will of God and Jeremiah 29:11 representing the rewards of our obedience to God’s will. You can have one without the other.

Yes, God does have awesome plans for us. But it requires us to line up in obedience to God.

Sunday Thoughts 3/19/17

What if the fire you are going through was built for your benefit? What if shortcomings are ultimately designed to help to in the long-run? What if that thorn in your side was designed to keep you at the feet of the father? What if The storm was made to give you peace?

Sunday Thoughts 3/5/17

9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of [those] whose heart [is] loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV

Hello family. Welcome to Sunday Thoughts. This wont be as deep as the devotions. This will be short thought provoking messages. This scripture shows how jealous God is for our Hearts. God is looking for ANYONE who will pursue Him relentlessly. ANYONE who will Love Him relentlessly. ANYONE who’s heart is loyal to Him and Him alone. ANYONE who will abandon themselves and chase after Him. Will YOU be the ANYONE He finds?

Morning Coffee 11/12/14 But God!

“I give you thanks, O lord, with all my heart; I will sing your praises before the gods. I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. As soon as I pray, you answer me; you encourage me by giving me strength.” (Psalms 138:1-3 NLT)

Good day family! King David had plenty of “But God!” moments. He was the youngest of all his brothers. All of them were of greater physical stature. But God chose him as king. Out on the battlefield a giant towered over him and mocked him, considering him an unworthy opponent. But God empowered him to slay the giant. When David was king, he let his lustful desires get the best of him and slept with Bathsheba the wife of Uriah a soldier in his army. When his plan to cover up his wrong failed, he put Uriah on the front lines where the fighting was the most intense so that he would be killed. Yes, David reaped the consequences. But God turned it around for the good. Bathsheba would later become the mother of Solomon, a great king and man of wisdom.

We all have “But God!” moments that have happened in our life. Today reflect on those moments. You will find yourself filled with praise and gratitude toward God. David was always praising God in good and bad times. Why? Because he remembered all God has done and is doing for him. He remembered the “But God!” moments in his life. What is your “But God!” moment?

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 11/2/14 The Apprentice

Good morning family Here is a little story for you. It’s called the apprentice

A young man was walking along the shore, looking out over the sea. He wondered what he would do with his life. He knew he was created for a purpose, he had graduated high school and tried many things welding, graphic design, electronics repair, and many other professions. But none of them filled the void that was within his heart. One day while taking his usual walk on the shore, he yelled out in frustration “WHAT IS MY PURPOSE! I NEED DIRECTION IN MY LIFE!” When he had finished yelling, he heard a voice from behind him, calling him by name, Come follow me I will teach you all the skills of my trade. The young man asked Sir? What do you do? The man replied I am a carpenter. The young man replied, I know nothing about carpentry and I am not good with my hands. I have tried many things and failed! The carpenter replied that is ok! I can still use you! Come follow me! The Dwight got up, followed the carpenter. The carpenter took him to his workshop where there were other apprentices and the carpenter began to teach the young man all the skills of his trade. The young man spent many years learning from the carpenter and he grew in skill and wisdom along with the other apprentices. He made a few mistakes, but the carpenter kept shaping and molding The young man.

One day the young man was walking along the shore with the carpenter and he looked out over the sea and sighed The Carpenter asked what is wrong? The young man said I have no purpose! The carpenter replied I have given you a purpose. I have taught you and I am still teaching you. You can now you can take what I have taught you and share it with others! The young man replied, but I made so many mistakes! The carpenter replied that’s ok, you got back up and kept learning and seeking me.

You Are my apprentice and you now have a purpose, My Word has guided you and will continue to guide you. The young man looked back out over the sea, but this time he felt the purpose within, he reflected back on all that The carpenter had taught him. Then the carpenter embraced him and whispered in his ear “I will always be with you!” At that moment the young man never felt without purpose again. He now knew he had a destiny.

At times we may feel lost and without purpose and direction. But God is there calling us and giving us a purpose and direction. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be a writer, but this is the direction God has lead me in. At times I feel inadequate and unqualified to write. But that is where God steps in and blows my mind. I am grateful to be an apprentice of Christ! I would not trade where I am now in my life, for the world. God can take the most lost person and use them in ways they never imagined.

Much Love & God Bless

Words Of Worship: Still Small Voice By Brandon Sawyer (a.k.a ApoetsHeart51)

I wake up and I hear it.

Softly calling me, I say give me a minute.

As i sit down with my cup of coffee looking at the morning up dates,

it is still there tugging at my heart like a child tugging on their mothers shirt.

I go about my daily routine going here and there but it still hasn’t gone anywhere.

My father arrives home and dinner is prepared. I still hear it

The growl of my stomach doesn’t even compare.

Finally the day is done and must answer this call.

I say here i am, it reply’s “I missed you where have you been?”

Me: “Im sorry i took so long but I’m here now!”

Still Small Voice: I have many things to tell you and many things for you to do!

Me: You have me!

Still Small Voice: I don’t want you just for now! I want you forever!

Me: Ok, Lord you can have me! I am surrendered to the call

of you Still Small Voice!
