Morning Coffee 12/7/15 Fear and Faith

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. –

Hello family, i get inspirational text messages. They have been a blessing to me.  A few days ago one text message struck me in an odd way. The text message read “The bible says perfect love cast out fear it didn’t say perfect faith. So yes you can be in faith and feel fear.” Normally i would read the text and move on if it was not for me. But it kept stirring in my sprit.

When we are about to take a leap of faith that God has moved us to take we will feel fear. But we cannot allow that feeling or thought to stay and take root. The bible clearly tells us not to fear. In multiple psalms David wrote about being afraid but then he turned around from that fear and acknowledged and praised the awesome mighty all powerful Heavenly father he serves. “4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. – Psalm 23:4 KJV”

We put our faith in God our father, we put our faith in His commands, we put our faith in these 66 books that he spoke into existence using a vast range of people to put ink to paper. Now God is love (perfect love) and “perfect love cast out fear”. God our heavenly father loves us, He is jealous for us! He gave His one and only son for us! We then put our faith in Him, knowing that no matter what situation arises in our life we do not need to fear! Kick fear to the curb because  if allowed to stay it will hinder you. God (your heavenly father) loves you and he will take better care of you than you can take care of your self! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR, GOD LOVES YOU!!!!!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 1/27/15 Excuses! Excuses! Excuses!

“But Moses protested to God, “Who am I to appear before Pharaoh? Who am I to lead the people of Israel out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11 NLT)

“But Moses protested, “If I go to the people of Israel and tell them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you,’ they will ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what should I tell them?” (Exodus 3:13 NLT)

“But Moses protested again, “What if they won’t believe me or listen to me? What if they say, ‘The lord never appeared to you’?” (Exodus 4:1 NLT)

“But Moses pleaded with the lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.” (Exodus 4:10 NLT)

“But Moses again pleaded, “Lord, please! Send anyone else.” (Exodus 4:13 NLT)

Hello family! Moses gave God every excuse, why he could not be the one to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. I have been like Moses a few times, God would give me a task to do and I would use every excuse I could to get out of doing what He asked me to do. I eventually did what God was asking me to do! If we did not have the gifts and ability to complete the task God would ask someone else to do it! God knows what He has placed in you, He created you! He will make provision in the areas you lack. So we don’t have any excuse for us not to do what God told us to do! Whatever fear you have, let it go! Whatever doubt, cast it out! Go! And go NOW! Do What He called and made you to do!

No excuses! And No Buts!

Much Love & God Bless

Morning Coffee 9/5/14 Don’t Fear Going Back

”So Moses went back home to Jethro, his father-in-law. “Please let me return to my relatives in Egypt,” Moses said. “I don’t even know if they are still alive.” “Go in peace,” Jethro replied. Before Moses left Midian, the  lord  said to him, “Return to Egypt, for all those who wanted to kill you have died.” So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey, and headed back to the land of Egypt. In his hand he carried the staff of God.” (Exsodus 4:18-20 NLT)

Most of us know the story of Moses, (if you don’t go and read Exodus chapters 2-4) adopted price of Egypt who saw the oppression on his fellow Israelite brothers and sisters, and did not like it. It bothered him so much that he killed an Egyptian that was beating a Hebrew slave. Word got out about what Moses did and pharaoh wanted him arrested and killed. So fearing for his life Moses fled from Egypt hope never to return. Well God called him back, there were a few thousand Israelites crying out, because of their oppression.

Sometimes God will send us back to a place from our past that we don’t have a great history with. If He does send us, He is not sending us to go back and dwell on past history. He will send us to do His work to help other get free from there bondage. If God is sending you back to a place that has nothing but memories of your mistakes and you fear retaliation, don’t fear! God has already prepared the hearts that need to be prepared.

God has given you the tools for the job Go and do what He has called you to do! When it is time to move on, He will let you know.

Much Love & God Bless
