“Do you trust me?” This is the question God posed to me as i was cleaning the dishes from dinner and a cover of Till I found you by Phil Wickham played from my phone. Do we Fully Trust God to take the script we have been writing, throw it out and start rewriting our story? Are we getting so caught up in the uncomfortable changes God leads us to, that we end up missing out on the break through that we have been begging God for?
“Without faith it is impossible to please God”- Hebrews 11:6. All seven billion people currently on this planet are born with with an mustard seed amount of faith, you don’t have to download it, it comes pre-installed. We just have to apply it to God and not anything else. That small amount of faith is the key to your obedience to God. Once that obedience is unlocked it then unlocks more faith. But starts when we remove that mustard seed faith from our understanding and apply it to acknowledging God in all His ways not ours. This can come in the simplest of tasks. After all why would God tell you to move the big when you can’t move the small.
Hello family, Over the past few month i have gotten inconsistent with posting morning coffee devotions and that is 100% my fault. Procrastination has been my biggest enemy. And God iscorrecting me. God laid out a road map for me and Morning coffee. He’s been knocking on my heart saying, “Why are you not writing? Here is what i want you to write.” i would put it off and say ill do it later. Well, later is here.
Sometimes we (myself included) really don’t see the importance of the gifts and ministries God gives us. I know i haven’t been looking with God’s eyes. I’ve kept on the rose tinted glasses of my flesh. And i am so wrong for that. Ive been seeing the likes on older devotions some of you have made on the word press blog. God showed me that This ministry is still valid. God established it and only he can take it down.
I apologize to you my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ for going MIA and abandon my post. I will not stop writing, i can’t God won’t let me! I will be here and where ever He needs me. Because this ministry no matter how small matters. lets see this world with Gods eyes
5 In the same way, you younger men must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, serve each other in humility, for “God opposes the proud but favors the humble.” – 1 Peter 5:5 NLT
Hello family, In todays world It is the young vs the old. Some youth are ambitious and are eager to get there plans moving. And they don’t want to hear the wisdom from their elders. On the others side the some elders want nothing to do with the youth they don’t want to hear anything new that the youth have to share.
This is not how it should be! Youth! God sees your ambitions and knows you are ready to take on the world. But hear the wisdom of those who have gone before you. They may keep you from making a mistake that can be costly, you do not know it all. So submit to those over you.
Elders! God has placed these ambitious youth under you for a reason. Do not crush the fire theyhave by not allowing them room to grow the gifts that God has given them. How will a harvest be reaped if new seed is not planted? You are there to nurture that seed until God moves it from
Youth and Elders! Work together to accomplish the mission God gave you! “A house divided will not stand!” You need each other!
1 Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind: 2 “Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? 3 Brace yourself like a man, because I have some questions for you, and you must answer them. 4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. – Job 38:1-4 NLT
Hello family, Jobbegan to smell himself and he defiantly questioned God. Well……. God came down and put him in his place. Sometimes we forget who we are and we (myself included) try and tell God how it is or do what we want to do.
In at the foundation of our Christian walk is servanthood Christ lived it right down to His last breath on the cross. We are now following in his footsteps. It does not matter what university or seminary you Got you papers from, it does not matter what title you hold. We are servants. God may have you as the worship leader of a local church body you are still a servant. If He (God) tells you to play a certainsong but you don’t like it, guess what? Its in your best interest to play the song. Whatever position God placed you in, You are His servant and you obey What is instructed to you if not you will reap the consequences.
God wants to use us and work through us. Things are so much easier when we put aside ourselves and say ok lord this what you want ill do it! Remember God has seen it all. And he will use us to accomplish His will. It is our best interest to remember that we simply servants in his kingdom.Don’t hinder what God Wants to do!
