Look at the dust storm in the image. That massive wall of dust is made up of billions possibly trillions of little particles of dirt stirred up by the winds from a thunderstorm. one dirt speck doesn’t do much. But gather billions of these particles together swept in the air and you have something that can shut downan entire city.
God’s winds are blowing will you allow your self to be stirred up?
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. – Romans 12:1 KJV
Hello family, Ask Not What Your God Can Do For You! But AskWhat You Can Do For Your God! Let’s be honest with our selves, we ask God for a lot! Majority of it is for self benefit. As this year has progressed God has been shifting my mindset from “God do for me!” to “God what can i do for you!” It’s not that i don’t ask Him for things for myself. It’s me coming into my personal time with God. With the mindset of a soldier reporting for duty, ready to execute His will.
We are in a time where we cannot get comfortable. we really should be doing the opposite. we should be prepared and expecting to be placed out of our comfort zone. I never met a soldier that fought with fuzzy bunny slippers on with a remote in there hand with a jumbo bag of popcorn. When God calls report for duty!
Ask Not What Your God Can Do For You! But AskWhat You Can Do For Your God!
Hello family this week God confronted me aboutun-forgiveness. not toward another person but toward myself. he showed me that it had become a burden i had placed on myself. and it truly was hindering me in my walk. If i am going to be all that God called me to be, I cannot hang on to these regrets. I have repented of them and God has forgiven me of them, so why should i hang on to them?
I have attached a link to two songs, play one or play both whatever you feel lead to do. They have blessed me I pray they bless you.
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14 NLT
Hello family these two scriptures have been stirring around in my mind during the week. These scriptures are two puzzle pieces that fit together. as a matter of fact they need each other. 2 Chronicles 7:14 representing Us yielding our self to the will of God and Jeremiah 29:11 representing the rewards of our obedience to God’s will. You can have one without the other.
Yes, God does have awesome plans for us. But it requires us to line up in obedience to God.
