4 This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says to all the captives he has exiled to Babylon from Jerusalem: 5 “Build homes, and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce. 6 Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have many grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away! 7 And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” – Jeremiah 29:4-7 NLT
Hello family, Some time God will put us in a place that looks like things wont go good for us and we want to get up and go at the first chance we get. But God placed us in that place for a reason and we can’t move on until we have completed what we are there to do!
In verse seven the Israelites are encouraged to pray for the nation they are in. God may bring you to a place where it looks like what needs to happen wont happen. That does not mean you just give up! No God has you there for a reason so pray for the job that you are currently in, pray for the season that you just walked into. Pray for the church body you attend. If you’ve praying, keep on praying, when that place you are in prospers you to will prosper and be fruitful.
Don’t jump ship just yet hold on for a little bit keep going to God with you cares for the place you are in. God wants to use you there. Right Where You Are
Much Love & God Bless
