“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV)

Hello family, sometimes we desire to accomplish a certain goal or complete a project. But in our desire to complete what we set out to do we get ahead of our self and God! We may have 99.9% of the task complete when God will slow use down. We sometimes think we need to press on when God is saying “hold off on that for another day! I have something else that is more important!” God is not going to force us to do what He wants us to do. He will allow us to run into traffic that blocks our way, He will allow different things to not work the way they should. Why? Because we (myself included) did not wait on Him! That’s why the activities you tried to do the other day got jacked up! That is why you were late to this meeting or missed it completely! If we wait (listen and do what he is leading us to do) on the Lord. We will have our strength renewed, we will soar with wings like eagles, we will run and not grow weary! We will walk and not faint! But if we push on through the yield signs and stop signs, we will wear ourselves out, we will bump and hit every rock on the road! Sometimes God will redirect what we are doing! That does not mean we are giving up on the current task it simply means that God is directing us down a path that is for our benefit to help us avoid Certain frustrations! Wait (listen!) on the lord and watch how smoothly things go!

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV)
