Morning Coffee 9/9/15 The Other half Of “A Righteous Man Falling 7 Times”

mc

15 Do not lie in wait, O wicked [man], against the dwelling of the righteous; Do not plunder his resting place; 16 For a righteous [man] may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. – Proverbs 24:15-16 NKJV

Hello family, this devotion was supposed to be about something else but God bought the above two scriptures to my attention. We all have heard or quote proverbs 24:16 may times. but if you read verse 15 first it takes on an even richer meaning.

Look at king Saul and how he was jealous of David and how he desired to take his life even until his last day. Every plot Saul made God foiled. God had rejected Saul and choose David to replace him. Now lets apply verses 16. Davids reign as king was not spotless he had a few scars.  But even after the events with Bathsheba and then his son abloom rebelling agains him. God still keep David on the throne.

When you are under Gods covering you are going to be just fine. 15 Do not lie in wait, O wicked [man], against the dwelling of the righteous; Do not plunder his resting place; 16 For a righteous [man] may fall seven times And rise again, But the wicked shall fall by calamity. – Proverbs 24:15-16 NKJV

Much Love & God Bless
