“When anyone brings a grain offering to the Lord, their offering is to be of the finest flour. They are to pour olive oil on it, put incense on it and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.” (Leviticus 2:1-2 NIV)

All through the book of Leviticus, God give rules and regulation for how He wants thing done. He gives the Israelites a specific order for every aspect of life. And if we listen He is giving us detailed directions for our life.

We may not do the rituals and ceremonies and sacrifices that the nation of Israel followed. That does not mean God has stop giving us specific directions for our lives. In order for us to fulfill our purpose we will have to do some things that may be silly or follow a plan so detailed that each step has a part A and B. Every detail God puts in our life serves a purpose. God does not slap things together randomly. Order cannot come from chaos. ”For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.” (1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV)

Sometimes we may have to wait on God for further instruction. He may tell us to do something but he does not want us to do it the way we know how. We will have to sit and listen to the Lord on how He wants things done. Don’t over look the details it can mean the difference between success and failure.

Much Love & God Bless
